What happens when you
stop looking away?
These songs are an invitation to look closer.
To the things we hide from ourselves, the truths we would rather ignore, and the fears that keep us moving in circles. They explore self-doubt, identity, the need for external validation, loss, memory, and the difficult process of understanding who we really are.
But they also look beyond the individual, at apathy, greed, violence, social pressure, and our tendency to look away when the world around us becomes uncomfortable.
Through all these different perspectives, there is a common desire: to connect with what surrounds us, to witness what we would rather ignore, and to awaken, to stop looking away.
And eventually, there is a choice.
To remain where we are, or to break through the things
that hold us back.
Break Down Your Fears is not about having all the answers. It is about asking the questions, and being willing to connect, witness,
and awaken along the way.
Who are we when we stop seeking approval from everyone else?
What happens when we finally confront the things we have been avoiding?
How much of our lives do we spend looking away?
Maybe breaking down our fears doesn't mean getting rid of them.
Maybe it means finally facing them
