Formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina, in 2020 by singer Juli Hope and guitarist Yamil Ladner, Abstracted Mind is a Symphonic Metal band blending powerful orchestral arrangements with modern and progressive metal. Drawing on their classical training at Buenos Aires’ National Conservatory Ástor Piazzolla, both founders bring a strong orchestral sensibility to the band's music.

Originally conceived as a studio project, the band debuted in 2021 with three self-produced Spanish-language singles that laid the foundation for their distinctive sound and artistic vision.

Later that year, the duo relocated to the Netherlands and began writing in English, opening their music to a broader European audience. The project evolved into a full live band with the addition of Rutger Klijn on bass and Eva Levina on drums. Since then, Abstracted Mind has delivered energetic performances across the Netherlands and appeared at the 10th Edition of the Laurus Nobilis Music Festival in Portugal.

Following the release of the singles Eternals and Despair in 2024, Where It Begins in 2025, and Rise Again in 2026, the band continued refining its blend of progressive power and cinematic drama, leading to the release of its debut album in late 2026.
