Formed in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 2020 by singer Juli Hope and guitarist Yamil Ladner, Abstracted Mind is a Symphonic Metal band that blends powerful orchestral arrangements with modern and progressive metal.

In 2021, Abstracted Mind started their journey with the release of three singles: Nadie Podrá Cambiar, Ser Quien Soy and Una Oportunidad, each accompanied by an official music video.

 

After the pandemic, the duo relocated to The Netherlands and began writing new material in English aiming to reach a broader audience in Europe. During 2024, the band released two new singles called Eternals and Despair, each with an official video, tracks that embody a new powerful music blend and trace the path of their new sound, which is further established with their latest single Where It Begins, released on September 26th, 2025.

To enhance their live performances, the band added Rutger Klijn on bass and Eva Levina on drums. With the new lineup, Abstracted Mind was ready to take the stage and leave their mark on the international metal scene. They’ve proven their strength through powerful and energetic shows, not only in the Netherlands but also leaving their mark in Portugal at the 10th Edition of Laurus Nobilis Music Festival.

The band is currently preparing the release of their debut album for 2026 and performing live shows.
